Jerry Batzner, President of the over 60 year old company bearing his name, Batzner Pest Management, Inc., has been awarded The Bravo! Entrepreneur Award by The Small Business Times. Jerry Batzner said, “It is an honor and a privilege to receive this award. Our entire Batzner Team is always humbled when our hard work, and dedication to providing exceptional service for our clients, is recognized.”

The award honors business owners for excellence in business leadership and those who demonstrate the best traits of entrepreneurship, including willingness to take risk, drive, and perseverance.  These awards are given annually to just ten of southeastern Wisconsin's most dynamic and innovative business leaders.

 

Milwaukee Magazine and MRA 'Best Places To Work'

Batzner Pest Management, Inc. has been named one of the "Best Places to Work" in Southeastern Wisconsin by Milwaukee Magazine. Results of this rigorous and highly competitive selection process will be published in the April 2008 issue. Batzner Pest Management is one of just nine small organizations (100 or fewer employees) to be honored.

Overall, 33 Southeastern Wisconsin companies earned the title of "Best Places to Work" within the categories of large (500 or more employees), medium (101 to 499 employees) and small (100 or fewer employees) in a study by Milwaukee Magazine and MRA-The Management Association. 

“We are extremely honored to receive this award,” said Jerry Batzner. “Our Team at Batzner works hard every day to deliver superior service and it is outstanding to be recognized for our accomplishments. I know we all try our best every day to be the best in the Pest Management Industry and the Marketplace. We truly appreciate this recognition.”

BBB Torch Award

In 2006, we were awarded with the BBB Torch Award for Business Ethics and Integrity. In 2004, we were awarded runner up, and we received an honorable mention for this award in 2005.

The BBB has also given us a satisfactory rating, the highest rating available, because they know that we stand behind our services and promote ethical business practices.


Best-In-Class Customer Service Award from PCT Magazine and Syngenta.

This national award is one of four components of the Crown Awards program. The program honors leading pest management companies and shares their customer service success stories for the benefit of the entire industry.

The Best-In-Class component of the Crown Awards is segmented into three class sizes- small, medium, and large, and it is awarded to only three of the 18,000 U.S. companies in the pest management industry.

We are honored to receive this award for our dedication to our customers and our desire to continually improve our working relationships.  We would not have received this award without the support of our clients.  Thank You!!

Angie's List Super Service Award

BPM has earned, for the 6th time,  the “Angie’s List Super Service Award.”  This recognition is based on achieving and maintaining a SUPERIOR service rating on Angie’s List (www.angieslist.com) throughout 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006 & 2007.   (In 2004, although our ratings were positive, we didn’t have the minimum number of ratings to qualify for the award.)

Angie’s List collects service ratings on local companies from area homeowners.  Unlike referral-type services, companies do not pay to be on Angie’s List, nor can they put themselves on the list. 

Winning this award is a great achievement.  Less than 5% of the companies on Angie’s List were even eligible for the award and even a smaller percentage of companies were actually awarded the honor.

In October, 2004, Jerry Batzner was named one of PCT-Pest Control Technology Magazine's Leadership Award Recipients

Each year Pest Control Technology magazine names a group of approximately 10 individuals as recipients of their Leadership Awards.  These are individuals who exemplify the qualities that mold and uphold the pest control industry. This award is given to individuals that PCT Magazine would like to honor as outstanding leaders in the pest management industry.  It’s PCT’s way of acknowledging the contributions to pest management professionals who uphold the highest standards of industry ethics and personal integrity.
