- Pale yellow to light or dark brown in color
- About 1/16 inch long
Behavior
- Their name comes from their habit of nesting very near or even in the nests of other ants, which they rob food
- Nest in small crevices and in woodwork and masonry
Diet
- Prefer foods with high protein contents, such as meats and grease but will also eat sweets
